If you are looking for someone who is willing to advocate for you to go the extra mile in helping you prepare your taxes and watching out for your financial health, then LOOK FURTHER because Susan is NOT YOUR PERSON.

I came to Susan last year as a referral. She seems very promising and so sincere but honestly she's not interested in working for her clients. She promised financial advise and guidance but has given none.

I have two businesses a sole prop and a S Corp. When I first came to Susan, I asked for financial advise as to how best to prepare from my upcoming taxes. There were a lot of promises but no delivery.

Susan handles my corp taxes. She seems to think she knows exactly what she is doing. I've questioned her and even taken the time to consult with other CPA's (4 total) who disagree with her method. That's okay because there are so many ways to interpret the tax laws and each CPA is different. That's not as important as having a complete financial picture early about my S Corp to help me prepare my Sole Prop taxes.

My S Corp fiscal year ends on Jun 30. My book keeper finished up the books in August and we got the spreadsheet to Susan at the beginning of September. She was suppose to get those back to me by October which gives me plenty of time to prepare for the end of the year. I had an appointment set up with her before she left. We talked on the phone before she left with her stating that my taxes were done and set up an appointment for when she returned.

I went to our scheduled appointment and taxes are still not done. This was in November. In fact she had no idea where the information was. "Hello, did you take a minute to look in your email inbox." I forwarded the email on to again. We rescheduled the appointment for the following Monday and she hasn't had TIME to do anything with the books. She's had them for 4 months and she hasn't had TIME.

So another week down. Come the following Friday late afternoon she has an issue with something and needs to addressed. FRIDAY afternoon when everyone is leaving for the weekend, she has an issue when she's had my books for at this point 4 months. So now I spent the weekend gathering her information and paying my bookkeeper overtime when all this could have been addressed months prior.

So instead of continuing through the books to see if anything else needs addressing Susan does nothing. We get her the answers on Monday the week before Christmas and She's still moving along casually without any regard to what effect this is having on me. So the afternoon before Christmas EVE (YES, Afternoon before!), she has another issue. Does this woman live in a bubble. Does she not have a CALENDAR! Come Saturday afternoon she has the never to send me an email saying let's postpone Monday's appointment because we haven't sent her the information which we were working on since Thurs and Fri were holidays and my book keeper wasn't working. I'm livid at this point and told her since we were working through the holidays because of her incompetence the least she could do was complete the books for Mon am. I walk in Monday and she claims she didn't get the email until Sunday night at midnight. Interesting because I was bcc'd on the email by bookkeeper sent which went out on Sunday evening at 9:30.

I get my books on Tuesday leaving me three days to figure out my sole prop. Turns out there is no time or resources to correct the damage and so I'm looking to pay a HUGE amount this year.

RUN! DO NOT PUT YOUR FINANCES IN THIS WOMAN'S HANDS. SHE HAS TOTAL DISREGARD FOR CLIENTS AND IS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!
